TP Delayed Release to Stores?
 
I'm new here and so far this site rocks!

Anyway... I am stuck with Verizon and with all the bad reviews of the Touch Pro I want to try it before I buy it. Supposedly it was supposed to be in stores Dec. 1 but it wasn't. I have called customer service and they tell me it is in stores and when I call the stores they say it's not in yet. Any one have any idea why that would be???

PS I am slowly picking up on all the lingo but is there some place I can go to read a beginners guide to ROMs, Flashing, Hard-SPL and things like that?

well i went in a verizon store on saturday to have my contacts transferred from my old krzr to my touch pro, and everyone except for one guy was like we can't because we don't get the stuff till monday. all he did was install cellebrite and transfer like drag and drop. worked like a charm. but it was supposed to be dec 1st, but no news wat so ever here either

You can get the Touch Pro from VZW thru their website and it will be in their stores for you to play with on Monday December 8th according to reps I have talked to at VZW.

You might want to check around to other stores in the area, because they are out there. Fortunately the first local store that I called in NH on Tuesday had the demo available and on the floor.

I found the phone to be a little laggy. Between that and the GPS issue I will wait to see what people say after the unlocker comes out.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the responses. I guess I will just have keep calling around. I was kinda hoping it was delayed because they were making some last minute updates to it :)

It really annoys me that they lock the GPS!
