streaming media

Well when I first started researching the touch pro I thought it was supposed to have an fm radio app. But it is not there. There is a streaming media app, but when I go to connect it has an rstp:\\. I wanna stream live radio from a station. Any one get this to work properly and any suggestions?

Re: streaming media

I've been researching this same topic (streaming radio on the Touch Pro) for a couple of days. The general consensus seems to be:

1. Download and install TCPMP - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...6&postcount=19

2. Download the stream for your radio station from here - http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/

Re: streaming media

But there is an app on the touch pro just for streaming audio. The book doesn't explain how to set this up and the touch pro is still too new. I am trying to figure out how to set up the app.

Re: streaming media

If you want to stream a radio station as in the same way you would from their website, you can get the address of the stream from their online player (most stations) and then open the address in your phone (right click on streaming audio player, click properties, copy address). On my 800w it automatically opens in windows media player and wala, streaming audio. I keep my links on my calendar as a reminder every day.
