Re: Overclockage?

That file does something - but it's certainly NOT overclocking. Transitions between files were faster - but were similar to changing glyphcache in the registry settings. Again, it seemed more like a registry tweak and definitely NOT overclocking as it advertized. It's modes of 520 and 624 had NOTHING to do with clockspeed. |

Re: Overclockage?
Better have a large car battery to lug around with you if you overclock this thing..... You'll probably have to also lug around a bag of ice to keep it cool. Mine gets hot if I look at it much less overclock it.

Re: Overclockage?
I don't think I have ever had my TP heat up just using it. it always had something to do with a phone call or a download.

Re: Overclockage?
Ahh.. I guess HTC Performance is a no-go then.. I will still try it and report in, but I haave doubts due to above posts.. Besides this hack, does anybody know of other software that does PPC overclocking, regardless of how it handles Qualcomm chips or if it works on the TP?

Re: Overclockage?
i like scaling function on the hackmaster when it had it on my 6700. it allowed the clock speed to adjust itself according to program usage. but sadly its not supported on the tp. with my touch pro's heating/charging issues, i would actually prefer to underclock the cpu.
