Help! Predictive Text Not Working

I received my Touch Pro from Verizon last week
And the “Predictive Text” was working while using
the Full sized Qwerty Keyboard, and all of the sudden
it stopped. Furthermore, it has never worked while using
the Slide Out one.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get it
working once again.

All the Best!

I'm curious about this too.

EDIT: This thread?

Are we supposed to try that diable_xt9[1].cab file?

What exactly does it do?

yes indeed, I ran that thing weeks ago and never looked back. Good job finding it. It gives you predictive text back and remembers new entries as well.

It works great.

Not sure about remembering new entries being a good thing. If you mis-type a word, that gets added to the dictionary automatically. I don't think that's good.

Either way, I don't really use it for word completion, so I unchecked suggest words and left on enable auto correct, which seems to add apostrophes in some words (like isn't and won't, but not I'm and I'd).

What else does enable auto correct do?

LOL, yea I've noticed that myself.... (I think I have as many miss-spelled words in there as I do new ones)

Is there any way to change that behavior or easily edit out the bad ones?

Does auto correct do anything other than add an apostrophe for a few words?

Sure, you can manually edit the dictionary & eliminate your typo's.

And how is that done? Is that the autocorrect file in the \windows directory I had seen mentioned elsewhere?
