screen tap sound... wave file?
 

other forums have suggested it's the "HWANDSW.wav" file, but that's a different sound.

Not sure. My guess is that it's built in to the device. But what the hell do I know, I don't dissect these things nearly as much as others.

I can tell you that "HWANDSW.wav" is either the "pop" or "click" when opening menus. I'd love to have them back.
