still wakes on new sms... help!
 

no matter what technique i use my phone still wakes on new sms. ive tried editing the registry, used diamond_tf3d_config, used advanced configuration tool, diamond tweaks... none helped. has anyone else, using a sprint touchpro, been able to solve this problem? i've also reset my phone to stock just in case it was a program i installed that was causing it....HELP! thanks

yeah i had that but it still wakes up, even if it is just showing the slide2unlock2 screen... still wastes battery life... i had the diamond and it just rings when sms comes in, screen does not turn on.... anybody?

Disable SMS received notification

The following setting disable SMS notification and sms recieved icon on screen

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSAvailabl e = 0>

To enable again

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSAvailabl e = 1>

I think that only disables the notification to let you know you got the text. It still wakes up when you receive one.

BTW, the original reg edit to disable wakeup only works on GSM devices.

nope all that did was remove the little preview pop up of the text message that appears at the bottom of the screen.....arggghhhh.... maybe there is no solution??????

As of yet, no.

I do hope that one shows up though... I would rather not have my screen on when I get a text message. The light ring and sound is enough.

o ok well i guess its slide2unlock2 for me.... blah hate it, looks just like i phone.... plus it STILL WAKES UP....hate hearing those screen taps in my pocket.....
