PPCGeeks - sprite backup 6.2 restore bogged my TP

i've been using this since i got my TP. I had a lot of success with the program restoring the files fine. At first i would do an inplace restore but then notice errors were still there perhaps the files were in use during the restore so i started doing a hardreset then a restore. I was using my old touch when i noticed how much faster it was than my TP. i decided to do a hardreset and reinstall everything manually. My TP is about as fast as my Touch now. Something must happen when u do a restore that causes the TP to be slow. I was having to do the performance hacks on my TP to get it to be snappy. Now with all the TF3D disabled and i don't have to do one performance hack at all. It was nice to have the sprite backup safety net but it isn't worth the performance slow down.
