TF3D free!!

I started off owning an audiovox 6700. I loved it minus the lack of disk space. Then the center button died and I went to a Treo 700WX. Bulky ant and weird screen resolution so I jumped on the mogul when it came out. After all the memory problems with that one when i was offered a free upgrade to a touch i jumped on it. All the time I loved the size but miss the keyboard 10x more than i missed the wifi. Then i p***** when Diamond came out in hopes of the touch pro.

I have to admit the TF3D was cool for about 2 hrs before i got annoyed with it. I can't stand having to go through so many different screens to get where i need to go. I also couldn't stand how slow the phone would ring. I hated watching the LED blink first for a couple of seconds before the phone would actually ring. I would hit answer button a couple of times before the phone would actually answer. I also noticed the same problem when I would hang up a call.

I disabled the HTC dialer skin and man the WINMO skin might be dog ugly but the DPAD is much more responsive and clicks are faster. I also put my mobile shell and phone shell back on. Now almost 95% of everything i usually can be done through the main screen. Yeah it doesn't look as cool as it did with the TF3D, but the phone responds much better with all that extra ram and is a lot snappier without having to do all of the reg hacks to get it to perform quick.

I noticed with my touch that i still have it was much snappier than my touch pro and that started me thinking.... the Touch in my opinon was almost perfect minus the keyboard, 640x480 resolution and gmeter. Now my phone is really a touch on an upgraded hardware platform.
