Random Display Issue: Moisture under Touch Screen?

So this morning I grab my phone off my desk. It wasn't charging or anything and was fine last night. I wiped off the screen and it looked like I had a small spot of oil from my skin on the screen still.

What is going on is that it looks like moisture somehow got under the touch screen on top of the LCD. It displays fine, but looks like there's oil on the screen. I can live with it, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar.

Re: Random Display Issue: Moisture under Touch Screen?

MPLS,

I am assuming you mean Minneapolis? I am from MN originaly and I can tell you due to the weather you have right now (COLD!) that this is not uncommon. The air is very dry there, and when you move from cold to warm envrionments (heated building to un-heated ourdoors) you will notice some condensation appear under the screen. This *should* go away by itself with time if you keep it in a level envrionment

Re: Random Display Issue: Moisture under Touch Screen?

Indeed I do mean Minneapolis. I was hoping someone would say something like you did. I noticed it this morning, then when I got in from my walk into work, it was REALLY bad. Now it's back to the size it was this morning.

Maybe I need to get some pocket warmers for my walk to my car after work!
