FTP Client
 

Can anyone recommend a decent windows mobile FTP client for my TP. Free would be preferable, if there are any. I don't need anything too fancy.

Total Commander is a free file explorer which has an FTP plug-in as we as a registry editor plug-in. I use resco myself (not free) but it's the same sorta setup. Google for Total Commander and give it a try.

I have resco and I just enabled the ftp plugin.

How do I download the file to a specific directory on my phone (i.e. storage card/temp)?

No, I can log into my ftp site.

If I double click a file, it looks like it downloads it to a temp directory and then tries to execute it.

How do I save the file to a location of my choosing on the phone?

I'm able to login to my ftp site with Resco, but how do I download a file to a specific location on my device?

If I click the file it just starts to download it and then executes in once the download is done.
