questions about the phone dialer

On the phone dialer pad screen - the last couple of calls I made are at the top. Right now, if I touch the number I last dialed, it dials that number again.

Is there anyway to set things so that instead of immediately dialing the number, it just selects it so that I can then choose another number on that contact? (person not home so I easily want to select mobile)

Also, is there anyway to answer a call in speaker mode? (if I hit the speaker button just after the 'Answer' button I have a tendency to accidentally hit 'End Call').

Thanks!

Re: questions about the phone dialer

As for the multiple numbers thing. If you use the D-Pad and scroll to the contact, you should be able to move left/right through various numbers and then call the one you want. I think you can also setup a new txt from there as well.
