Re: Registry tweaks on the VZW TP

I enabled Lunar calendar by editting a registry key...

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Calendar\
ShowLunarCalendar=1 (DWORD Dec)

So now when you click on Calendar, it takes you to your Agenda, but then on the bottom click on Day, then Week, then Month, then Year, then Lunar and it will show you the Lunar Calendar.

Incidentally this works on all WM6 and WM6.1 devices.

(Lunar Calendar is helpful for surfers, fisherman, seamen, jews, muslims, etc.)

Re: Registry tweaks on the VZW TP

I did: (posted elsewhere on this forum, but cant find it at the moment to give credit)

I had the same problem at first not as bad as some are reporting my text never lagged just opening programs, then I did these 3 regedits and now my VZW TP is running as it should, no lag what-so-ever.
The following 3 hacks increase system performance and makes the Q more responsive:
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\
Changed limit from 16384 to 32768 (WAS 8192)
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS
Changed - CacheSize to 4096 (WAS 0)
(NEW!) Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\StorageManager\Filters\f sreplxfilt
Change “ReplStoreCacheSize” dword decimal value to 4096 or 8192 (edit: I find 4096 best, g-funk finds 8192)
(WAS 0)

Still no help on the lagginess of the phone......
