VZW - Touch Pro light sensor question

I've read that some people here can have their TP screen to shut off while you place it on you ear for incoming/outgoing calls. Where's that option? I have Advance config tool install and set my options for the following:

Light sensor
Light sensor polling : Enable (default)
Light sensor polling interval: 1000
Light sensor threshold: 5 (default)
Light sensor threshold to turn screen off: 5 (default)

This isn't working for me. Anyone else?

It should be automatic... That is what my phone is set at and it turns off like normal.

Maybe its VZW thing?

Yeah might be a verizon thing... mine turns off automatically when i put it to my face, it could be a combination of Light Sensor and Gyro sensor

In Diamond Config, do you have both fast sleep and light sensor enabled?

Re: VZW - Touch Pro light sensor question

you know, all you have to do is push the power button to turn the screen off when your talking.

Re: VZW - Touch Pro light sensor question

I've got VZW and this has always worked for me - I have advanced config, but I've never changed the defaults concerning the light sensor.
