Touch Pro = $134.27!

Hey guys, been waiting on getting my Pro for a while now...really tired of the Mogul. I ordered it today and ended up paying $94.27. Here's how:

Last year, when I signed up for SERO I ordered the Moto Q for $90. I ended up selling it for $260, and buying the Mogul for $300. A few weeks ago, I ordered a replacement Mogul and Asurion sent me a brand new one, box + all accessories included, and Sprint waived my $50 deductible. I sold this mogul for $230 on ebay ($9.27 = paypal fees). Now today I ordered a Touch Pro for $450 (I know there have been lower prices but I can't wait any longer to save $15). The live cashback was $135.

So:

$450
-$135 (live cashback)
-$220.73 (Mogul)
+$40 (Cost for Mogul 1 year ago)

$134.27

I know it sounds like a hassle, but it was really easy. Hope to love this phone as much as I did my Mogul those first few weeks. First thing I will do is dye the battery cover black! Then install all the apps and games I have waiting on my computer. Will create a new thread with pictures and videos soon!

Well done! I did something similar by buying a couple of Samsung i760's off of craigslist for $100 each and then selling them for $200 each. I found a Touch Pro for $350 on ebay and I still have my original vx6700 to sell. So far I love this phone!

Awesome...after reading all the crap people have said about the phone my excitement was dieing down...weaponx's dye-ing idea has me on the edge of me seat for the phone!

Plus, I found call of duty and some other cool emulators that would freeze up my mogul (not enough memory)...hopefully they'll work on the pro!

i got an instinct back in late july, fought with dan@sprint, told them I wanted a different phone or else I was leaving (due to the java support/keyboard issues, general lockups/crashes, and no native im program), and i wanted to wait for the touch pro. they traded me up to it under the 30-day return policy even though it was more than 60-days out when i started complaining, and they didn't ask me to return the instinct. after i dump it on ebay and not including service, they may actually be paying me for my touch pro. =:3

I think your math is a little wrong. You are forgetting about the original $90 you spent on the Q. So that makes $224.37.
