Creating notes by accident while in call

Anyone else have a problem with the phone making a note while you are on the phone? I don't think my screen turns off since half the time when I get off the phone my screen shows a doodle from my face in a note! I have the Verizon Touch Pro, and I'm not sure if this is just this phone or all Touch Pros, but anyone else have this problem or have a fix for this?

I've posted about this too a while back. I've come to the conclusion that my cheek must accidentally be hitting the notes button while on call. It's annoying as hell.

I noticed that the screen sometimes goes off so it doesn't do this. Isn't the screen supposed to turn off when a call is connected?

I have gotten to where I hold the phone away from my head when I'm on a call, at least until the screen goes dark. My ear kept causing all kinds of strange things to happen. Funny how the touch screen sensitivity can be so variable - sometimes I have to really PRESS to scroll, yet my ear manages to trigger things.

It maybe is caused to you pulling out the stylus during a phone call. Settings/phone/advanced will turn that off.

Quick fix for me was to remember to hit the power button once on top of the device. Doing so while making or taking a call turns off the screen. Pulling out the stylus while on a call, activates the notes application.

There's a great program developed over a at XDA called Touchlockpro1.5 that works WONDERS for locking the device when in your pocket as well. There's another thread started for it here.

I had this problem with my Apache as well. It hasn't bothered me enough to find a fix since it only happens once in a while. So far, I haven't done it on this phone. (TP)
