Can the "Freebie" screen protector be re-used ?

I did a somewhat imperfect install of the free protector that came with the TP.
It seems to be a static based shield not "glue". Anyone have any luck with removal , cleaning , then re application ?

If not anywhere to order refills of these specific ones ?

Re: Can the "Freebie" screen protector be re-used ?

I use a large roll of packing tape.

I remove the screen protector and place the side that goes on the screen on the tape. The tape removes any of the lint/dust on the SP. Once you are sure the screen is perfectly clean, peel the SP off the tape and reapply to the phone. Works a charm for me, but I am not responsible for the type of tape you use. Mine is clear no brand name packing tape on a blue plastic roll...

Good Luck!

So you washed both sides of it with soap and water?

An even better solution is the 3M blue painters tape. The adhesive won't transfer to the protector, and the low tackiness makes it easier to get it off the tape.

Re: Can the "Freebie" screen protector be re-used ?

Washing the stock protector off in warm water with some mild dish soap is a good way to go. I just did this today.

Remove the protector from your phone, and get some soap on your thumb and forefinger. Then run some warm water on both sides of the protector, and rub the plastic gently between your two soapy fingers. Then rinse it off and pat the outside-facing side (feels less grippy) dry with either a microfiber towel or a paper towel. You can do the same for the grippy side, or just let it air-dry. Then re-apply.
