S2U2 problem

I had to uninstall this app.

Everytime I slid my keyboard out or closed it...it would switch to my phone(where u dial a #) for a split second, then my contacts info for a second, then close back to my home screen after a few seconds....very strange....

Is there a fix for this?

Re: S2U2 problem

I have never had this issue and I'm currently using v1.33.

Try uninstalling, soft reset then reinstall s2u2 and see if the problem still exists.

I found that version to mess up your volume buttons so I went back down to v1.33.

Re: S2U2 problem

direct draw and raw buffer??

i just installed S2u2 last night. it was one direct draw and working fine. i changed it to raw buffer because a couple people said to do it or it wouldnt work. i figured i should change it because maybe i wouldnt get features or things would stop working...

what exactly is the difference between the two? because they both work for me...

Re: S2U2 problem

I am not sure what the technical difference is between direct draw and raw buffer, but any version of S2U2 before 1.35 had problems with using direct draw on the Touch Pro. Version 1.35 fixed these issues and I have been using it with direct draw without a hitch since it was released.

I think direct draw might be able to use the Touch Pro's video acceleration hardware, which would lower the cpu usage and hopefully make S2U2 animations smoother. As I stated earlier, I haven't really researched the difference, so I could be way off base. That is just what I picked up from reading threads on ppcgeeks and xda-developers.

Re: S2U2 problem

and also to make sure s2u2 does not affect your volume button go into the settings and make sure you disable the s2u2 skin for the volume button
