constant screen switching portrait/landscape
 

I have a touch pro that is exhibiting the following problems when using the keyboard:

1. the keyboard flashes on/off randomly
2. the screen switches from portrait to landscape randomly

Its very difficult for me to type anything at all with the keyboard with all of this flashing/switching going on. Is this a known issue of some sort?

I've installed the "touch pro tweaks only" cab found in one of this forum's stickeys and i also am running Gyrator. however, when Gyrator is turned off the issue continues.

I've had this device for about 5 days and i don't know if the keyboard behaved normaly before the tweak install..

Back up everything and hard reset.

I had that problem. There was something wrong with a sensor or switch or whatever on the slide mechinism. I had to return it. I have a new one and it works fine now. I also have both of those installed on my pro.

I'll try the hard reset and then if it persists then I'll exchange it for a new one.

I had to exchange mine that was doing that. A hard reset did not work.

sorry for the late reply, yes, i had to exchange mine as well.
