Any uses for multi touch sensitive bottom panel?

I have been looking around but I havent really seen any one or any program take advantage of the multi touch sensitive panel on the bottom of phone. Besides the scroll wheel. It would seem like you could do some cool iphone'esqu gestures with it. Any ideas?
