Searching for Software suggestions

I am a long time palm user who just moved to the touch pro. As such I am not very familiar with Windows mobile software and resources. Could any of you point me to a:

1) Good ebook reader
2) A good music player
3) A good list of "must have" software
4) Some good windows mobile resource sites

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Searching for Software suggestions

DrFuk1:
There is a "Software" section under Forum that may help you. Truly, the user's needs determine what software to install.
A free and gr8 media player will be TCMP, there is a cab floating around the PRO section here,it may be version .72. A must app will definitely be a back up solution: Spb back up is (trial+paid),Sprite back up (same), PIM back up (free).
Another must will be a registry editor so you can make changes to the TP registry: a free one will be phm registry editor, a paid ones : resco explorer......
Later my man, about time you left palm, gallee....

Re: Searching for Software suggestions

thank you all for the quick replies.

HTC TP. I actually did do a lot of searching prior to the post, but a lot if what comes up are commercial opinions.

I tried Mobipocket reader and PocketPlayer (both recommended by the sites) and I was less than satisfied. As such, I was hoping to get some feedback from real people.
I should have been clearer in my intentions and I do appreciate the links though.

I will give Kinoma and TCPMP and try. If no one can suggest a better ebook reader I will try mobipocket again.

Thanks again.

Re: Searching for Software suggestions

I use mobipocket for ebooks. I love it and its free.. fictionwise for book purchase. The drawback is you can register 3 devices per account, but can only change 1nc every 6mos... however its better than unlocking your files with a cc number IE ereader.... in my opinion.
