Start Menu reg hack
 

not the icons...I recall from the mogul there was a hack that made the start menu pop up faster...Im noticing "TODAY" shows up but the outline of the start menu is there, then about 2 seconds later the options populate.

Ive been googling and searching but can remember the name of the actual hack

Did you ever find this? I have noticed this as well, and it annoys the heck out of me. Sometimes I hit Start again and then once it does finally appear it disappears again but then I hit it again and it pops up fast.

i did this on my mogul..havent tried it on th TP yet

Disable start menu animation
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu Change "AniType" to 0

Anyone tried this? Just searched and this was the most recent topic I could find on the subject.

No that's not the tweak. The animation just makes it slide in, which is disabled on our phones.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Does anyone not have this happen with the stock ROM? It happens literally every time I select the start menu.
