Hard Reset then Active Sync...

WHy doesnt it recognize the phone? it starts to make a new profile on my CPU and i dont want that. how do i change that?

If I am getting this correctly... you went into SETTING>SYSTEM>ABOUT and changed the device name. Then sometime later performed a HARD RESET. Is this correct? If so, you need to go rename it again after the hard reset. The HARD RESET takes everything back to the factory defaults. Youneed to just go rename it to what you had, then it should work just fine.
