alarm clock

i use my phone alarm clock to wake up. When it starts going off, nothing comes up on the screen, i have to always click the little icon at the top and then dismiss the alarm. On my mogul, a pop-up always came up and i could just click dismiss, is there any way to get the tp alarm clock like that?

Re: alarm clock

Hey,
I had the mogul too and used to use the default alarm clock... when i got the touch pro i started looking for other options and found this free app: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/screens
it's much more finger friendly and lets you choose mp3s or any other sound file you put on your phone. A full screen popup comes up when it goes off and gives you the options to snooze or stop the alarm. There's also a maze feature that makes you have to navigate a ball through a maze with the touch pro's accelerometer in order to get the stop/snooze options - great for heavy sleepers like myself!
Anyway, check it out it's pretty nice and you'll find that it replaces the default alarm in that it shows the alarm time in s2u2, touchflo3d, and today screen.
Hope this helps or even improves your current experience with a phone alarm.

Edit: the download link is on the left menu, 2nd from the top. Here are the skins available: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/skins i actually designed my own by editing the pic files in file explorer.

Re: alarm clock

Do you have "Display message on screen" checked for Reminders under the device Sounds & Notifications settings? This will give you the popup.

Re: alarm clock

It is called G Alarm . I have it. It is really cool. It is annoying in the mornings to have to play a little game to turn it off, but it works.
