Touch Pro - Cant Hear?

Have had my touch pro for about 3 weeks now, love the phone but I have a few issues, One - I can barly hear who I am talking to. Can I tweek this?
Also I have seen lots of you talk about this as well, the phone cannot last the day, now I did just find I had beam recieve on and just turned it off and have optimised the rest of the normal settings but can this be tweeked like other phones.
I have tweeked computers in regedit and I see some of that is done here with the mobile phones as well. My question is how do I get into those areas on this phone?
Thanks in advance for your help...

Did the Bad Boy full volume and it seems louder, Yeah

Now if I can get the same help on the battery that would be great, seems like there are alot of diffrent things out there for this and I suppose, I want the right fix.

Re: Touch Pro - Cant Hear?

This may seem elementary..but I had the same problem..couldn't hear sh*t on the phone, no matter what tweaks I did. It ended up being my little sister who actually "fixed" the problem. We removed the screen protector that shipped with the phone. It was covering up the actual ear piece. When I removed it, sound came in loud and clear. I am not worried about scratches either as I ordered an invisible shield from zagg and their template has a hole pre-cut for the ear piece.
