Getting the Alltel Touch pro..?

Well about a week ago i HAD to return my mogul because of issues, they would not get me a new one or any deal on the Touch Pro. The TP was released today and he went to the store and just asked (same store i went to) and they gave him a Touch Pro free of charge (in exchange for mogul of course). So, is there anything i can do to inconspicuously slow down the device, so they might accept it for a PRO? i know it sounds bad but i talked and talked and talked and then argued with the people up there and they said screw you. he just waltz on up there and didnt even have anything wrong with his phone (hes installed 1000 apps and then uninstalled them and has never hard resetted so his device is slow. any help?
