touch pro DOA?
 

hey guys

just got the touch from an ebay seller and it seems like it might be dead...

first i have to plug it in to the wall to even turn on, after it keeps power cycling right after the touch pro screen comes up. it doesnt even show what ROM or radio version at the bottom, just blank. bootloader is stock and ebay seller claimed it was brand new.

other then contacting the seller (which i am about to do), does anyone have any suggestions?

uhhh is it a PRO or just regular touch

I dont know what to tell ya. Maybe try flashing a ROM yourself. Get it into bootload and possibly try relocking the phone. Then install the stock rom back on it. The seller probably goofed while trying to flash something. I believe he said it's a touch pro already. Try a HARD Reset with it plugged in.

yea in the title it says tp and in the op it says touch. but if its the pro try flashing any old rom (only like 5 to chose from) then get back to us

thanks guys, is there official TP sprint releases of the ROM so i may flash it, if so where could i find it because all i have seen is the sprint version minus the bloat it comes with, which i believe its not a signed ROM
