slide open 2 txt issue

Does anyone else have this problem which im sure you do so how do we fix it...

Anyways you receive a txt slide open your phone and start typing away only to have the phone try and input your txt into a contact search or whatever instead of into the body of said txt msg... how do we fix this stupid thing..

i found that you just have to wait for the text message to load and then start typing...i dont know of any other way of doing it.

this doesnt work for me also when i get multiple messages i have to scroll to each one in touchflo to get the message to be considered "read"

ya, that should be true unless you have just seen the original msg in the actual msging program...otherwise you havnt opened it yet therefore it wont be counted as 'read'

no i dont believe so. because its like having it at your home screen. for instance pull out your keyboard at the home screen, wait for it to load and then start typing on it. It automatically begins searching for a contact that you have typed in. So basically what its doing is when you open you keyboard and start typing it goes to the home screen and then you get the annoying contact search...

soft reset your phone when that happens....dunno why it starts doing it...but no matter what whenever I slide my keyboard it does as you describe...until I soft reset.

hmmmm i really dont have a problem with it. Like i said before just go into the text to reply in the portrait mode, let it load, then open the keyboard and whala! you can use the keyboard with no issues.

I was about to post this same issue. I guess I'm not the only one. Seems as though whenever i try a soft reset it only works for a short while. It's been quite a hassle when the phone contacts just pop up. There has to be a way to resolve this issue.
