How do you activate GPS?
 

I just got my HTC Touch Pro from Alltel, but GPS doesn't appear to be activated as satellites cannot be acquired.

I tried doing a search but apparently GPS is too short of a word to search for.

Does anyone have step by step how to activate GPS on my Alltel HTC Touch Pro? I already have google maps ready to go.

At first make sure you try to lock on the satellites while outdoors preferably in a clear sky view. The first time it will take a bit longer to get a lock also.
Also try running the quick gps app in the TP before.

hey, you need to go under start>settings>phone>services>locating setting>get settings>on
