Sprint TV - Stupid pop-up
 

Anyway to stop this phone from asking after like 2-3 minutes of watching sprint tv to press the center key to contine?

My mogul never did such non-sense I could sit there and watch full movies with no interuption on the sprint premier - yet this stupid pos keeps popping up - press center to continue..

C'mon boys I know one of you mad scientist have found this in the registry somewhere.. help a brotha out!

yeah its funny because I seriously wonder what they think someone does when watching tv at home. I know it's meant to save battery, but why not give it to us like once an hour? Not every 15 minutes, jeesh. Or better yet, give it to us at the end of the hour or beginning of the hour, like 7:58 or 8:02 or something, that way they can weezle their way in between shows.

I was just about to start a thread with the same question. I searched xda and here and can not find an answer.
I dug around in the registry but can't find anything there either.
Hopefully someone else here can come up with something.

ya its going to take someone a lot smarter then me at registry snooping to find this - and thats even if it isnt built into the app

Well more tinkering and no success - Im really starting to believe that this is in the program.

I'd love it if mine did it every 15 minutes. It would be a lot better than the 5 minute timer I'm on. My wife's 800w also does it every 5 minutes. Called Sprint... the guy didn't know what I was talking about. Never heard of it.

Sounds like the app anyway, not the registry.

In my sanyo M1 it was in the the system files some where. but dont know about the WM counter part.

omg this is annoying - I work somewhere that allows for a lot of downtimes some days and sprint tv is a blessing.. but not when that stupid pop up shows..
