What's the recommended divx/video player?

Been using various versions of TCPMP (back from when it was called beta player) since probably 2001 or so. It's an incredibly robust, lightweight program for playing nearly anything you can throw at it.

But 7 years later i'm sure there are more advanced media players out there. What are you guys using?

personally I still primarily use TCPMP. just like how on my pc i still use media player classic or VLC. Sometimes the old programs just got it right the first time and you really don't need to fix anything.

I don't know if it handles Divx but I use Kinoma. In my opinion it is the best media player out there in my opinion.. It lets you play YouTube clips straight from the program and your also able to log into your account to access your favorites and playlists... It works with most of the video and audio codecs out there... It also supports VGA so it looks great on the TP screen.. And you can use it to view pictures also... I use the free version.. I posted the link below... It goes straight to downloading so be warned...

What's the difference between the two? Doesn't TCPMP play divx by default?

Question -- what is the correct version of this to use? I got the WM6 professional one and it plays the movie, but the interface display is glitchy, leaves artifacts over the status bar, the timeline doesn't disappear in the movie, and the status bar icons flash through while the movie is playing.
