Boost up your internet Speed!

I found this on sprint users site, it said it would help boost up your internet speed. Dudes, post!

i haven't tried it because i don't have my MSL, but if someone has it.. i think you should give it a try!

Boost Your Internet Speed! First of fellow Sprint Users, I would like to briefly appologize for not thinking to post this here long ago. I have had the same phone for so long and did it on my own phone so long ago I just forgot. After doing this on several Sprint phones for a while so it's been part of my standard initial setup of any new phone I get. Just got an Instinct and it came back.

You need your MSL to do this.

Under the #DATA# or ##3282# service menu, go to multimedia menu, then buffer size. Change the value there from 07 to 20. Then restart your phone. Update your data/vision profile.

Now all your internet connected programs should be much faster.

That's it! Enjoy!
Please post any feedback. Positive or negative. Hope this helps!

I'm not seeing anything labeled multimedia.
is this the right menu?
all i see is "user name" and "advanced"

##3282# service menu asks for a password, you need to call Sprint for the MSL.

This was a fix for the buffer length on the Instinct. I don't think this works on the TP

i was gonna say, i've got the msl and all that good stuff, but after drilling around on that other website, it seems more angled towards non-winmo sprint phones

I think our phones either

1. Are unaffected by this
2. Already have this

Yeah, this was/is a tip useful only on dumbphones. I remember changing it on a Samsung A920 and a A900, didn't notice much of a difference then...
