Esmertec Java Help

This is probably a very simple question to answer:

I am trying to open the JAVA file from the file manager. When i do, it says "There is no application associated with "jbed_vga". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application"

Sorry for my lameness, but how do i make this work?

I want to use java with opera. Thanks.

I thought the Jbed was for running J2ME in emulation on newer devices, anyone care to clarify?

Esmertec jbed is a java virtual machine that can run java applications like Opera mini and so on.

What do you mean by "What are some websites that we could test this on"? Do you have a java web browser like Opera Mini installed?

Yes I have Opera Mini installed...but everything seems the same as before i installed esmertec Java...i was just wondering if there were any websites where i could see a noticeable difference now that I have the java enabled.

Thanks.

Humm... Would this allow me to view java content on websites with this java environment?

Re: Esmertec Java Help

this will make absolutely no difference in how web pages are displayed.

it is only for running java apps.
