Can anyone confirm this is normal? Activesync question...
This is the first time i've noticed this in a month. Maybe it's because i usually let the choose storage or activesync dialog come up when i connect with usb... but today i saw that there was another smaller dialog that says something like "usb connecting.. user authenticated.. connected" and then closes out. This shows if i quickly select "done" at the choose storage or activesync connection screen...
I never noticed this on the touch pro or my previous phone... Is this normal? If not, i want to figure out why it's happening all of a sudden...

Yeah.. That is normal.. I get that every time I connect to a USB cable.. It's basically a heads up to let you know that the connection was good..

Same but I don't think it did that when I first got the phone. I am not sure when it started doing it though but I have been speculating that it started about the time I unlocked my phone. It still does it even after I flashed with the stock Sprint shipped rom and has since then but I really do not believe it always did it.

good, i'm glad i'm not experiencing something weird.
i started noticing it after i had problems getting activesync to link up with my phone... i did the uncheck advanced networking trick and got it back working... and that's when i started noticing the connection dialog soon after... i guess i don't have a reason to worry anymore, but could this be a reason?

Yeah.. That could be the reason.. My phone is locked and stock Sprint.. It shows that dialog also..

Yeah... I need to unlock it and install a custom ROM.. I give advice and know a lot.. But have never took the plunge... Go figure.. And that popcorn with the phone is false... It was really good video editing... I had to close Advanced Networking and now Active Sync plays nicely with my Touch Pro..
