Display Message On Screen Randomly Turning Off
I have problem sometimes with my Touch Pro...When I get a text message sometimes the screen will turn on and the message will be at the bottom...But other times it won't pop up at the bottom..I always keep the Display Message On Screen box checked but when I look at it sometimes for some reason it isn't checked anymore...I constantly have to keep checking the box...Is anyone else experiencing this problem...?

Re: Display Message On Screen Randomly Turning Off
I too have this problem. It's seems when I'm in another program like a web page or instant messenger and a text message comes in the alert turns off and I have to go back and check the box to turn it back on.

Re: Display Message On Screen Randomly Turning Off
I started experiencing this two days ago as well. Funny cause I thought I was the only one. It's not a huge deal just annoying that I don't know how to fix it

Re: Display Message On Screen Randomly Turning Off
I have this same issue it just keeps turning off the display Notifications, and its getting annoying because I have to keep going back into "Sounds & Notifications" then "Notifications" and "check the Display message on screen box". Does anyone know if there is a fix coming for this, or how to prevent this from happening?

Re: Display Message On Screen Randomly Turning Off
It might be possible to write a little utility to record your settings and periodically check in the background and reset them to what you want if they've changed. Maybe something as simple as MortScript could be used. I haven't had time to look into doing anything with it myself. For now, I just set everything to what I want and immediately used a registry editor to export the entire HKCU/ControlPanel/Notifications tree. Then, any time I notice it's changed, I just click on my Notifications.reg file and it sets things back the way I want.
Not ideal, but better than having to go manually reset everything that gets switched. |
