Hey all you cooks Id like to put out a request for a gamers rom for the touch pro....give it a real kewl looking home screen with maybe a few kewll game sounds cant forget keyboard sounds too=D> and ppossibly put a couplr popular games in there to if you can find them...Is this a possilbility Im already getting a little bored with mine it does what I need just kinda blah..well think it over let me know if this is doable I know you cooks can come up with something :headbang:

oh something like Half life,unreal tournament or quake3 you know what would be kewl Ive been a speed racer fan for a long time IM old..LOL even a speeed racer theme would be kewl too I know its probably a big order here but let me know what you come up with I dont know if youve been following the custom roms but Im useing Y4J's 4.0 works pretty good battery life not bad either at any rate hope to hear from you soon. thanks

please dont mind me asking.....

but just to make it clear to myself....can somebody please define what a ROM is and why upgrading is sometimes beneficial.....

Im kinda new to the WinMo world.....im good with the PC but the first time dealing with the Mobile version...

so yea, somebody? Rom? I dunno what they are, what they do and what theyre for....

Yes, this thread is not about that so I'd think this is the wrong place.

But to answer your question, think of it as upgrading your operating system. Most of the custom roms available right now have a newer build of winmo which is faster than the shipped one, some removal of unecessary things and sometimes customizations all of which stay if you have to to a hard reset

Hmm, not a bad idea for a rom.

would not mind seeing a 'emu-gamers' rom having some emu's integrated along with the IM clients, and let the users add whatever roms they might legally own.
