Re: Gamers rom
I have a list of emu's that work. Sent them all to OmegaX if he wants to include them.
Here is the list of EMU's that I know, work. The ROMs you will have to find on your own, but will need to be stored in the directory that the EMU is in. I've tried to classify them in subfolders but most of the time it does not work. PocketSNES: PocketSNES.WM5.zip Genesis Emulator: PicoDrive.zip Gameboy Advance: PocketGBA_rel060723.zip I am taking NO credit for these EMU's or anything, just that I personally tested them and they work on the Touch Pro. the NES emu is going to require someone to assist who can do some programming. It is not compatible with a VGA display, but I might be able to get one of the more 'well known' people to recompile it. Will let you all know if this comes through. If anyone has any questions, let me know Last edited by Lord Delmar; 11-26-2008 at 10:11 PM. Reason: added disclaimer |

Re: Gamers rom
no worries OmegaX, I totally understand. Using Yay 4 juggs ROM right now, as it seems ot be the most stable and quickest when loaded with the things I use the most.
If you need any help, let me know. Might not be all THAT much help but will do what I can. Also, still working on the Fallout 3 Theme. I think I get how to do a few things, but the big one that I want to do is replace the icons at the bottom of touchflo 3d with other icons. Not sure if I am going to be able to do that or not yet. Re: Gamers rom
Well, being these are emulators for ROMs that you LEGALLY own, you should know that you can buy a device that will extract the ROM out of a cartridge.
Google is your friend Going onto a second note, I found another game that I never knew was for the PPC. I played it MANY years ago and this is one that DEFINITLY should be included in any gamer ROM. Nethack nethack-343-ce-ppc.zip Its an open source RPG. graphics are very ancient, but the fact that it is a completely random adventure each time makes it addictive as heck. |

Re: Gamers rom
Oh and I tried every single emulator listed here in this thread...
they all lag, in both landscape and portrait mode... the GBA emulator doesnt even pull up the buttons to push....im just completely lost on how to set these up to make them work at their optimal best on the TP... Some of these even froze my phone for a little bit and screwed up the display until I soft resetted the device..... I really want these to work but I havent the clue on how to do it.....pointers? |

Re: Gamers rom
considering most of these were created for windows mobile 5 and even 2003 and qvga there are just usually some excentricities you just need to learn to work around, like opening pocket nester and then setting the landscape right option before opening a rom.
