Task Fascade- give your TP a Sony XPeria feel

Found this last night at Freewarepocketpc.com

http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...sk-facade.html

• Summary: Graphical task-switcher that shows all running programs as snapshots (XPeria like feeling)
Updated version 3.7.7 ready for download

Graphical task-switcher that shows all running programs as snapshots (Vista-style)

3.7.7 /2008-11-05/:

# fix: wakeup feature will work absolutely stable: if you switch it off in the config, it will be switched off when launching Facade next time 100%. So don't be afraid of using it!
# fix: can be installed on WM5
# default wallpapers in the config.txt changed to be 320x240 (qvga). it seems like most of us are still qvga. vga users please change the settings (change '320x240' to '640x480')
# minor fixes and structural changes

The main aim of the TASK FACADE project is to get the functionality similar to Dynamo2, but with enhanced performance.

Just map it to some button, then reboot.

--------

Now on that page they have a link to this program: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432213
but it seems like a totally different one. Also, from the forum post... it seems like it isn't working.

I been playing around with this program and it seems very handy. At first it was irritating seeing a "Desktop", "Start", and "Phone" window everytime it came up... but I finally figured out how to "ban" them in the config file in the theme folders. You can also put your own background.

So far so good... I'm going to run this for the rest of the week and see how the phone's performance still is.
