I want a battery door that doesnt creek and isnt a piece of crap.

I actually prefer the Sprint's version of the Battery cover. Not so much the color, but it's growing on me.

I would prefer the option to buy a completely plain version that covers up the camera entirely for those that work in security sensitive areas, so that they can have the camera disabled and completely hidden so as not to draw any attention. Or just hide it in general.

I think it's a good petition. If people don't like it they should just ignore it. I have a feeling a lot of people will sign it though. Just as there are all black themes on this site, people want a nice black back panel as well. Most electronics come in black, silver or white... so it's not unreasonable to request an accessory like this.
For the love of god, give saumaun some room. We'll know soon enough just how many think it's a good idea to have this accessory available.
How would you like it if there was only one type of case or screen protector available? Would you guys be telling others to just be happy?
I prefer the sprint back, but I'm all about options.

I can see them developing a CDMA Diamond Faceted back, if there is a demand, and like someone previously said, im all for more choices aswell.

One can be a casual stock grey for everyday to day, and the Black glossy finish back for formal attire, and perhaps even a soft finish diamond faceted cover for whenever the mood strikes you, I'd buy an HTC branded Backplate pack

i mean they are adding diamonds around the camera in Germany with an in-box voucher in November,2008 and even offering an all white diamond overseas
