Finger Scrolling Question

ok, when im scrolling, lets say through my contacts, it goes ALLLL the way to the bottom with one swipe. i have to stop the scrolling by tapping again.

how do i stop that! i kinda of want an iphone type of scroll.

you know, a single swipe wont go all super fast to the bottom or top.

Re: Finger Scrolling Question

Ya I noticed this too, but I didnt think it was that bad. I guess cause I haven't messed with an iphone.
All I could say is that if you keep your finger in contact with the screen as you scroll it will stop when you stop your finger. Of course this limits your scrolling to the edge of the screen requiring you to repeat the process, but like I said I thought It was a cool little feature that my old 6800 didn't offer.

Re: Finger Scrolling Question

Try using iContact Burt Edition. It's designed specifically for touch navigation, and has that cool kinetic scroll effect. I hate that the Touch Pro's default contact manager scrolls all the way down without stopping too.

After installing the cab, it replaces the shortcuts to contacts, so whenever you click on Phone > Contacts, it brings up iContact. You also don't have to import your contacts, it uses the database of the windows mobile contact manager, and also allows you to add, remove, or modify contacts. It also shows your pictures that you have assigned to contacts. If you see POutlook Contacts showing in your Launch Program menu, do not delete this from the list. If you delete it, the shortcuts to contacts will open the default Touch Pro contact manager.

Best of all it's free, and the cab is attached to this post

I had to rename the extension to .zip, it's actually a cab, so rename it to .cab or it won't work.

Re: Finger Scrolling Question

is there a way to configure it so that the "All People" option in TF3D opens iContact?
