A Question About Customizing TouchFlo 3D...

I've read through many, many.....many posts, but I still do not understand how people are changing their icons, bars...but I do get the clocks.

I tried installing that TF3D Configuration thing, but it just gives me errors every time that I try to use it. It won't even open. Can someone simply point me in the right direction??
