No tactile response on spacebar?
Edit: Sorry, I mean the TP.
Hello- Has anyone else noticed the spacebar to be...weird...feeling compared to the rest of the keys? It's like there's no tactile response on it - just mush. I figured I'd ask here before asking to exchange it, in the event it was a known issue. But then again a search didn't yield any results. Mine was weird for the first couple of days. It looked visibly raised over the other keys and had a mushy feel to it. But not it seems to have the same tactile feedback as the other keys.

Mine is actually depressed compared to the rest of the keys. I'd much rather have it raised like the mogul.
Maybe I should return my tp?

Getting a nice tactile feel.
[I can't believe I'm saying this, but] Try a pressurized duster... maybe by random chance you got something small enough below the key that is interfering with the feel. And even more randomly would be if it comes out when you use the duster. It's a long shot, but worth a try nonetheless.

(Sorry to resurrect this thread...)
Mine has this as well. Same exact description in mind - the space bar feels mushy. I'm wondering whether I should exchange it. It's been about a week. There's even an audible "click" from other keys and none from the spacebar.

I have the same damn problem. I'm one week into having a touch pro. I just returned my other one for scratchy audio and the raised home key. This second one doesn't have any of the problems that my first one had. But Something didn't feel right on the keyboard when I was typing.
I thought Sprint stores only allowed 1 exchange in the 30 days? How can I get this replaced and would the store even consider his a defect? Last edited by mrdenial; 12-06-2008 at 03:57 AM.
