Reason Treo pro is fast
I came upon this... just and idea
<< I think I understand why the Treo Pro is apparently more responsive than other WM devices. You're advocating, for example, changing the GlyphCache limit to, say, 16382. The Treo Pro, by default, has it set to 131072. That's quite a lot. It also has caching enabled by default, though with a CacheSize of 0, for some reason. Any idea if the Cache size is in Bytes or Kilobytes? Given the Pro's GlyphCache Limit, I'd have to say Bytes... >> Last edited by mxl180; 11-16-2008 at 12:09 AM.

my TP FLIIIIEEES with touchflo disabled. I dont see how it could be any faster?

You also have to take into consideration that Palm does a lot of their own custom optimizations.
