Wifi vs. EVDO - which one gets used when?

I was wondering if Sprint TV runs on Wifi or EVDO, then started wondering exactly which apps use which, and how it decides?

if you enable Wifi and have a connection does all internet traffic, weather tab, radio, tv... go over Wifi? and then only SMS, MMS over EVDO and phone/voicemail over the regular phone part?

ok guys the sprint tv doesnt work on the wifi network unless you have the wifi on and you are connected and to turn off the sounds you have to go to the settings then sounds & notifications and then from the drop down menu choose the wifi option....n then change the sound....

Re: Wifi vs. EVDO - which one gets used when?

If I want to turn on WiFi, I turn off the data connection to help it use WiFi, otherwise I find that it generally uses the Sprint network.
