HELP! HTC TOUCH PRO slide out keyboard doesnt work anymore
 

None of the keys are responsive, what do I do?
Soft reset did not work. :-(

in that case... back up contacts hard reset, if that fails call sprint or email e-care and have them mail you a replacement asap, dont forget to mention what an inconvenience it will be to be without a fully functional device for however long it takes them to replace it..... then just hope the screen doesnt break before the new one arrives

Will it wipe out the storage card on hard reset and any programs that I have installed?
when I hit the caps lock or func , i see the green lights turn on. So the keyboard seems functional.

Ok, I did the hard reset and everything works again. Except I have lost my programs, the hard reset did not clear the contents of the storage card, so now I am not sure how I will install programs. Do I need to clear the storage manually or will it resolve itself when i nstall stuff?

This brings me to an important question, best buy service plan 10$ / month, sprint service plan $7 / month.
which ones do you guys recommend?

I personally have both, and my best buy service plan is only 7 a month
