Skyfire and TP? Change the resolution??
Found this over at XDA-Developers... Might have some good advice...
I don't currently have a VGA device, therefor have not tried these .cabs out myself. I just thought I would put these out there for anyone willing to try them and see how they work for you on your device. Originally these were developed for the Athena, I believe. These .cab files are supposed to allow you to change the screen resolution through a simple interface which also supports SIP's. I believe if the screen is set with the 96 DPI .cab file you should have QVGA resolution, which in theory should allow Skyfire to appear appropriately. Post back if you try this and let us know if it works for you and which settings you used. Hope this is helpful. Here is the link to the ResPack files. http://www.sendspace.com/folder/vcjrpi You should be able to select between the two resolutions through the settings of the ResPack after install. Set to 96dpi before opening Skyfire then back to 128dpi after closing Skyfire. If it doesn't work for you, you can just uninstall. It won't stick your resolution, as you have files for both resolution sizes anyway. Heres another one you can try. It's capable of selecting different resolutions for software that require specific resolutions, such as Skyfire. http://www.nyditot.com/Downloads.asp ref: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=2314690 Here is the link... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=435853 |
