on screen keyboard problem (no ABC)

I have a touch pro, and have done most of the Touch Pro essentials hacks and upgrades.

When I pull up the on screen keyboard it only has the 123 options with the 9 symbol screens. It does have the ABC tab but pressing on it doesn't do anything. Also any website I go to that has a form to fill out automatically pops up the on screen keyboard (which doesn't have any letters) even if I have the keyboard slid out. I am sure some hack has broken this but I don't know where to start looking for a fix.

I have this same issue. I updated using the old word completion regedit as well as the reply all to only be reply regedit, but it was working fine. Now I have the same issue using the full QWERTY or compact QWERTY input options. If I select full keyboard input option it works fine.:???:

Here is the fix for Classic Word Completion AND for the numeric-only issue.

Thanks. I tried the zip file, that didn't correct the ABC problem. I'm not sure what to do with the tweak.html.txt file, do you know? I do have the Diamond Config program on my device, maybe that's causing some issue.

It looks like the combination of HTC home and Pocket Informant are what is killing the on screen keyboard. What registry entries controll the on screen keyboard and what are they when it's stock? Thanks

If you don't care about T9, go here for a fix that really does work: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...eyboard+school.
