Re: Group Buy on oem touch pro batteries

Yeah that's always the problem... better size battery = thicker phone + new back that might not be high quality.

Here is a question I have... if we got extra OEM batteries... how much is a stand alone charger? One isn't too much good without the other...

I had a Mogul with the Seidio 3500Mah on it, weight and size mean nothing, I just want a phone I can get through the day without having to charge and be able to use Bluetooth, GPS, and Internet all the time and if that means a fatter phone then so be it. Size comparison of Mogul with Seidio equip and Touch Pro here

I bought this on Ebay. 2 batteries and a charger for $30 AU (about $18 US I think). Here's the title: 2x Battery 1340mAh +Desktop Charger for HTC Touch Pro. Ebay Seller: joeweiderx, or tmiplus Return Address: Speedy Batteries Company Shop 232, 298 Computer Zone 298 Hennessy Road, Wanchai Hong Kong Arrived in about 10 days. On first glance batteries looked the same; Closer inspection shows printing is inferior. Printing registration is different as is font and layout. Part Numbers are one digit different from OEM: OEM: P/N 35H00111-12M Other batteries: P/N 35H00111-06M Battery charger is a USB with 3 blue lights on one side. When charging (connected to 120V AC) they light up sequentially. After several hours the lights all stay lit. It's very inexpensively made. Battery Performance: When placed in Touch Pro and started, the battery indicator shows very low battery left (blank battery with an exclamation point), however the battery performance seems to be close (say 75-85%) of OEM. Cannot confirm actual times as I haven't given my life over to a complete analysis for $18 batteries. After second battery charge and use, performance seemed to improve. Replacement Batteries don't appear to charge in the phone. When left plugged in over night, they act like they have been on standby the whole time. Good time to have two batteries and an external charger. So far so good, but I'd prefer an OEM Best
