Line/Dead Pixels In Screen

I ve had my touch pro for about 4 days, and it seems like the bar from the AIM messenger burned into my screen. There is a permanent line going vertical on my screen from when I ran it in landscape mode. Even after restarting and doing a hard reset it will not go away. Anyone else experience this? I took it back to sprint they said they would order me a new one, but i kinda dont want a new one if the next one will do the same thing. Think they released em too early?

I think he meant to take a picture of your phone with a camera so we can see exactly what you are talking about. I am also interested.

Re: Line/Dead Pixels In Screen

not good at all.....send it back for an exchange.

You could try a hard reset just to make sure it has nothing to do with tweaks..etc., but I really think it is a hardware issue with the screen.

Re: Line/Dead Pixels In Screen

I've seen the retention issue on desktop and video LCDs but not on a phone. It looks like an embossed edge of the bar is retained rather than a solid area. Sometimes a batch of LCDs will have this problem so one device may have the issue while another doesn't.
