Angry Weird issue during send/receive

When I'm doing a send/receive, whether in the TF3D email tab or the Inbox itself, sometimes my TP jumps back to the home screen. Is anyone else having this issue? It's not a showstopper but it's really annoying!

Re: Weird issue during send/receive

hey there. i get the same issue. annoying is right. i have only tried to setup IMAP accounts - my own domain and gmail - and it happens with both of them. i called sprint support and they were useless and told me that my settings were wrong - if they were wrong, why did the IMAP email show up?

if i change the DOWNLOADED MESSAGES to "From the past 3 days" the problem goes away, but then what's the point of that, i want my old messages too.

i did read that someone else had this problem, returned his PRO, got a new one and the issue is fixed. seems really odd.

also, never used IMAP on a PPC before, but shouldn't the email folders that have messages in them show up on the PPC? on mine, the folders show up, but they are empty...

this is one of the main reasons i bought the HTC PRO. i wanted instant access to ALL my email. fun times ahead!

hopefully someone has come up with a solution. thanks in advance!

Menu, Manage Folders. You have to tell it which folders you want it to sync.

Re: Weird issue during send/receive

I have the same issue but it is really random. I only started to get it when I added the 1% increment battery cab called fixixoverbattery. What I think causes it is the battery signal is fighting for position against another icon and when it happens it kicks you back to the home screen. this is a guess but I have seen it multiple times and the battery icon always pops up before it happens.

Next time it happens watch the top of your phone and see if your battery meter shows up real quick.

Hard reset will not fix this. It shouldn't happen with the stock battery meter

Just tried a hard reset - no luck, still randomly resets to the Home screen. Thanks anyway!

you are correct, a hard reset did not fix it. however, i do not see the battery meter showing up quickly either. also, i did not install the fixixoverbattery cab.

cheers!
