Best gps anti theft lost phone software?

So what is the best software for anti-theft / lost phone software? I'd like to be able to send a text to my phone and it will respond with gps location and what not. Maybe remote diable and other options?

Anyone have recommendations? Thanks

Sprite Terminator (http://www.spritesoftware.com/?page_id=280) is the most effective. It has the ability to completely wipe your device so that only a hard reset can be performed. Be careful testing this as it is VERY effective.

Remote Tracker (http://remotetracker.sourceforge.net/) is open source and is very good. It has the added option of email (rather than only responding in sms) and will track movement over time. But it is not as effective in protecting your data as Sprite Terminator (total wipe of the system.)

Awesome app. But it says it works on GSM....Wonder if it will work on CDMA? Have you tried it?

It will work on any WM phone that it can run on, it's not restricted to GSM... I've been using it for a long time.

Ideally, it would be best cooked into a ROM (so it can't be disabled/removed by someone that knows how).

AWESOME! Will plop that bad boy on my phone. I live in a small town and phones don't typically get swiped, but I do have a tendency of leaving my phone at various places...

. I can see the benefit for that reason

Yes, I have both loaded on my TP and they work fine.
